Hello sweetiesss, this is my fourth blogpost. I still can’t believe it and I’m kinda nervous whilst writing this. I’m still very excited that I now have my own blog. In this blogpost I’m going to write you what my favourite foundations are and why.
I will start with my BB Cream from Clinique. I know, I hear you thinking; BB cream isn’t a foundation, but I use it as a foundation every day. In the summer I wore it everyday because it has spf 30. Because of that it will protect your skin from the sun. The BB cream also evens out your skintone. I love it because it makes my skin a lot less red but you can stil see some blemishes. I feel like it makes my skin look “normal”. If I got more blemishes or spots I prefer a more full coverage foundation, but in the summer my skin is pretty nice. I like to apply the BB cream with a real techniques brush because it blends the foundation nice into my skin. It also gives me more coverages than with a BeautyBlender.
My second favourite is the Nars Sheerglow foundation. The best foundation ever. I have a very dry skin so I don’t like full coverage foundation, I prefer the light weight and sheer foundations. This is definitely the best one for me. It covers everything I want but still looks natural with a beautiful glow. Because of the glow the foundation looks very natural. It also blends perfect into my skin and won’t cling to dry spots (that’s what full coverage foundation does with my skin). What I like the most about this foundation is that you can make it more full coverage, by applying a second layer. It won’t look cakey. I have it in the color; Fiji. On everyday basis I apply it with a BeautyBlender because it looks more naturel. But when I have a party I apply it with a brush because it gives more coverage.
The last two ones that I’m going to write about are two foundations I’ve recently fallen in love with. I don’t know which one I like more yet. These two are both drugstore foundations. That makes it even better because I don’t like to wear a expensive foundation everyday. I will start with the The Maybelline Fit me foundation. It’s like the name says; Fit me. It just looks like your skin but still covers enough. I like to apply it with a brush because a BeautyBlender drinks all the foundation. I got it in the color 120 (my summer color, because I got a little bit tanned). This is also a sheer foundation for normal to dry skin. It wears a good day but if I don’t set it with powder it doesn’t stay on that long. It will slip and slide on my face. If I set it, it’s okay. The best part is it is only 6 dollars in USA and in Europe it’s about 10 euro.
The last one is the Wet N Wild Photofocus foundation. I got it in the shade; soft beige. It got a little spatcheler which I find really handy to apply the foundation with. Then I blend it in with a brush. This is the first matte foundation that looks nice on my skin. It feels very light and doesn’t cling to my dry skin. It also doesn’t flash back on photo’s when you wear this foundation and that’s a big plus for me! Still can’t believe it but this foundation only cost 6 dollars!
These are my four favourite foundations. Please let me know if you tried one of them and what you think about it. Recommendations are always welcome! Hope you liked this, see you soon!
