TRAVEL MONDAY, GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

Hello wanderers, welcome back to another Travel Monday. Today I’m going to talk about my favourite part from my road trip through Canada and America. On our 4th day we went finally to America. I was very excited about that because I always wanted to go to America. The first thing I noticed that they had really big country cars and they were very Catholic. They had posters with things about Jesus and God. I didn’t know that about this side from America.

My favourite part was when we went to Glacier National park. It’s a national park located in the U.S. state of Montana. The park encompasses over 1 million acres (4,000 km) and includes parts of two mountain ranges, over 130 names lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals.  We went first to Mc Donald lake and no you can’t get a burger there haha! It was soooo beautiful and I got right away vacation feelings, because everyone was sunbathing and swimming in the lake. After that we drove to the “ Going to sun road”. This is a scenic mountain road in the Rocky Mountains, in Glacier National Park. It’s the only road that traverses the park crossing the Continental Divide through Logan Pass at an elevation of 2,026 m, which is the highest point of the road. The length of the road is 80 km and spans the width of the park between the east and west entrance stations. The road is one of the most difficult roads in North America.

I enjoyed every moment when we were driving. We made also a lot of beautiful stops. At one point we were so high in the mountains it was just unreal. Then I realised how big this world is and I enjoyed it. We made a lot of pictures and I mean a lot! They’re also one of my favourite pictures to look back at because I was just the happiest girl on that moment. I never been a “mountain girl” but this is just another level from mountains. Just the prettiest thing ever! I mean look at the pictures and you understand why.

Definitly would recommend go there if you in North America because it was one of my favourite park. It’s just the prettiest thing on earth and unbelievable. Have you ever been there? Or do you know other beautiful places in North America? Please let me know! I hoped you liked and see you Wednesday again.
